Windows and glass walls and partitions are a great space to display graphics – is there any surface with greater visibility? In designing graphics for windows, it is important to remember that the main purpose of windows is to provide light and visibility. In fact, for some window graphic applications, there are regulations that must be followed. Vehicle windows cannot be completely covered, for obvious reasons. Many cities and towns have specific sign regulations that dictate how much of a storefront window area can be covered by graphic signage. Even common sense tells us that the ability to see out and let light in are two pretty important functions a window provides.
